I want to do an EVP session at my house, but my parnets dont know where the tape recorder is. (yes we still have one of those >< wow i feel old now.) and i have a camera which records video and audio..but it's dont last every long, because it's an older camera. and i want to know if there is any places where i can get a recorder so that way i can do an evp session in my house. i just hope the spirits are in a good mood that night! Cheesy

I got my digital at Radio Shack. It's an Olympus VN 4100- PC.  It was right at $60. I think wal mart has the Sony ones too. Make sure you get one that is a PC model so you can upload the files.

It will have PC somewhere in the name, like mine says 4100-PC. It's usually on the front on the package. Can't wait to see what you get!

I have an olympus that does not have a USB port.  I've found my Sansa mp3 player with voice recorder is crystal clear and very sensitive.  It has a USB port and is much more simple to use.  And only cost 40 bucks compared to 80 or so for a usb compatible DVR.
